A single origin decaf from Peru, Grade 1, Fair Trade Organic. Mountain Water decaffeinated, which uses no chemical solvents and preserves the character of the original coffee.
Nougat and caramel carry the cup. Raspberry arrives in the finish, bright enough to remind you this is specialty coffee, not a concession. The Mountain Water process keeps the clarity intact where other decaffeination methods flatten it.
Grown by smallholder farmers across Peru's highlands at 1,200 to 1,600 metres. Bourbon, Caturra, Typica, Pache, and Catimor varieties, fully washed before decaffeination.
