A medium-dark blend of two washed coffees. Peru Cleber Cordova, a Caturra from El Romerillo in Huabal, Cajamarca. Guatemala La Montaña from Huehuetenango, washed anaerobic.
Orange peel, caramel and chocolate milk. Full body, built for espresso and milk, and good in a cafetière.
The label is Hantise, a lithograph by Odilon Redon from 1894. The title means haunting. A woman in white stands in the dark. Faces watch her, and she does not look round.
Roasted in October and November only. Stock is limited.
